Jenna's Story
Jenna Lynn was diagnosed with a Wilms Tumor (a form of
childhood kidney cancer) on October 5th, 2012. She underwent surgery October
9th to remove her right kidney along with the baseball size tumor. She
underwent chemotherapy treatments at Texas Children's Cancer Clinic once a
week for 20 weeks. At her 1 year 9 month follow up scans another tumor was
found, Jenna's Cancer has come back. The tumor is in her pelvic area, she
will go through 27 weeks of intense chemotherapy including multiple hospital
stays at Texas Childrens and radiation treatments at MD Anderson.
